OAKLAND — A man was fatally stabbed Friday morning in the Rancho San Antonio area of East Oakland, authorities said.
His name was not immediately released. He is believed to be in his 40s, authorities said.
The stabbing happened about 7:07 a.m. in the area of International Boulevard and 15th Avenue.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are trying to determine a motive for the killing. No arrests were announced.
Friday’s killing is the 20th homicide investigated by Oakland police this year and the second in less than 16 hours. A man was fatally shot in another part of East Oakland about 4:15 p.m. Thursday. Last year at this time police had investigated 25 homicides in the city.
