BERKELEY — Police were looking for a person who shot at a resident early Sunday morning after they interrupted a theft.

The incident occurred at approximately 3 a.m. in the 2100 block of Delaware Street, according to UC Berkeley Police.
When a Berkeley resident tried to stop the theft, authorities said, at least one suspect fired several rounds. The suspect then fled in a dark-colored vehicle.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
