As far as Melissa McCarthy sees it, there’s nothing to forgive Barbra Streisand for after the icon asked if the “Bridesmaids” star could credit her appearance to Ozempic.

The “Gilmore Girls” alum, 53, defended the Oscar-winning “Funny Girl” star, 82, who faced backlash for commenting, “Did you take Ozempic?” on a since-deleted post of McCarthy’s. The comment was captured on the Comments by Celebs account.

McCarthy shared a video on Wednesday in which she’s holding a copy of “Barbra: Celebrating an Icon.” She lowers it and says, “The takeaway: Barbra Streisand knows I exist. She reached out to me and she thought I looked good. I win the day.”

The post was captioned, “@barbrastreisand fan club members only!!!”

The “Can You Ever Forgive Me?” star’s post came hours after Streisand responded to the backlash on her Instagram story.

“OMG – I went on Instagram to see the photos we’d posted of the beautiful flowers I’d received for my birthday! Below them was a photo of my friend Melissa McCarthy who I sang with on my Encore album. She looked fantastic!” explained Babs. “I just wanted to pay her a compliment. I forgot the world is reading!”

Some commenters on the Comments by Celebs post slammed Babs’ comment as “cruel,” while many attributed her making the remark at all to her age.

“I see Barbra has entered her super senior unfiltered era,” said one commenter.

“Do better,” said another. “I mean no one is here asking about your Botox.”

“Omg Babs, you can’t just ask people if they’re on Ozempic,” replied another commenter.

Approved for adults with type 2 diabetes, Ozempic is among a class of diabetes drugs that have also been proven effective for weight loss. Many celebrities, including Oprah Winfrey, have opened up about their experience taking such drugs.

As Streisand alluded to, she and McCarthy recorded a duet of “Anything You Can Do,” for Streisand’s 2016 album, “Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway.”
