Organizers of the 2024 Historic Downtown Campbell Car Show are looking for “owners of exquisite, exotic and interesting cars” to enter their vehicles. The second annual show is set for June 29 in downtown Campbell.

The all-day show runs 9 a.m.-3 p.m., with closed streets. This is a juried show with professional judges. Custom fabricated one-of-a-kind trophies will be awarded for Best in Show, Best Muscle Car, Best Truck, Best Import, Best Hot Rod and Best Street Machine, as well as a staff pick.

Cars of all types are being sought for the show. Space is limited, and all entries will be screened by a review panel. There is no charge for submitting an entry. Entry fee for rides chosen for the show is $45 per vehicle and includes a T-shirt.

‘Beauty’ at Heritage

The Academy of Classical Ballet presents “The Sleeping Beauty” Saturday, May 18, at 7 pm. and Sunday, May 19, at 3 p.m. at Campbell’s Heritage Theatre. The classic ballet is set to Tchaikovsky’s traditional score.

History day trip

Bay Area Older Adults is hosting a Walnut Creek History Day Trip on May 24, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Participants can learn about the history of Walnut Creek in the 1800s and 1900s  via a walking tour of the downtown area, a tour of an historic home and a homestyle Peruvian lunch.
