OAKLAND — A 41-year-old man was shot multiple times Thursday night in East Oakland, authorities said.
He was in stable condition Friday at a hospital where he was recovering from wounds to his arm and leg, authorities said.
The shooting happened about 10:06 p.m. Thursday in the 1900 block of 94th Avenue, a primarily residential area.

Police responding to a gunshot detection system alert found the man in the roadway. Officers performed life-saving measures at the scene before the man was transported to a hospital.
Police were trying to determine if an SUV found parked nearby that bore bullet holes and blood stains was related to the shooting.
A motive was not immediately determined and police did not release any suspect information.
