Photos: Day One of the inaugural La Onda Latin music festival

Thousands of festivalgoers, some who came from as far as Utah and Texas, gathered at the Napa Valley Expo for the inaugural La Onda Latin music festival on Saturday.

La Onda festival, from the organizers of BottleRock Napa Valley, is the long overdue first-ever biggest Latin music festival in Northern California. International Latin artists such as Alejandro Fernandez, Danna Paola, Los Angeles Azules, Farruko, La Arrolladora, Junior H, Gera MX, Eden Muñoz, and many others delighted fans with Latin pop, rap, corridos tumbados, cumbia, rancheras and more during Day One of two days of family entertainment on a sunny day.

Fans also cheered for the colorful masked Mexican wrestlers during the lucha libre matches between music performances. Some fans opted for the silent disco with tunes played by different DJs. The second and last day of the festival continues Sunday with headliners Fuerza Regida, and Mana, who performed last week during BottleRock Napa Valley. For more info check La Onda website.
