San Jose Jazz Summer Fest showcases South Bay teens

The family event featured ten bulls for ten riders from northern California, a horse-dancing show, five Mexican regional bands, dancing, and food and beverages.

One of the brave bull riders, Juanito Diaz, suffered a minor injury in his leg at the end of the ride with G-spot, the name given to a bull with a Dalmatian skin tone, which they say is the strongest of the bulls. Fortunately, Diaz came back to the ring to join fellow riders in continuing the show.

The music was contagious from start to finish. Fans created clouds of dust from the ground while dancing to the bands’ rhythm. Artists were kind to take the fans’ cellphones one at a time, who were persistent in taking selfies with them from the stage, a new trend in Mexican shows.
