Whimsical Saratoga

The Saratoga History Museum has a new exhibit called “Did You Know,” which outlines interesting facts about the city. The exhibit takes a “whimsical” look at Saratoga, and attendees can learn about the most romantic walks in the city and where to catch new music.

The Saratoga History Museum is located at 20450 Los Gatos-Saratoga Road, and is open from 1-4 p.m. on Fridays and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on weekends. Admission and parking are free.

Bright future for student film

Four Saratoga High School students won a $350 prize in the 2024 One Earth Young Filmmakers contest.

Riley Adler, Janelle Lim, Curran Randhawa and Dylan Wilson earned the prize for their short film, “A Dark Future.” The prize came with a matching $350 donation to a nonprofit that aligns with the message of their film, which outlines the harmful impact that light pollution can have on humans and animals and focuses on the work of the Santa Cruz-based Dark Sky International.
