Vehicle theft: Between 10 p.m. on Aug. 17 and 11 a.m. on Aug. 18, someone stole a trailer valued at approximately $10,000 parked in the 12000 block of Candy Court.

Vehicle theft: Between 8 p.m. on Aug. 16 and 10:06 a.m. on Aug. 20, someone stole a vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence in the 19000 block of Glen Una Drive.

Vehicle burglary:  Between 11 p.m. on Aug. 19 and 6:30 a.m. on Aug. 20, someone broke through the windows of multiple vehicles parked on Pepper Lane, Pierce Road, Saraview Drive and Woodward Court but only stole two pairs of earrings valued at approximately $250 from one car.

Identity theft: On Aug. 20, Saratoga residents reported that someone used their personal information to access their credit card accounts and made fraudulent purchases totaling approximately $866.

Aug. 21

Stolen/recovered vehicle: Between 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 20 and 8:43 a.m. on Aug. 21, someone stole a vehicle parked in the 13000 block of Ward Avenue. The vehicle was later recovered unoccupied in Campbell.

Mail theft, check fraud: The victim reported that someone stole mail, including bank checks, about one month prior from their mailbox in the 18000 block of Palo Oaks Court. The suspect then forged the victim’s signature on the checks to withdraw money from the victim’s bank account for a loss of approximately $750.
