At Bishop Ranch in San Ramon, Restaurant Week offers special menus and happy hour wine prices all week long

There’s no better time than Restaurant Week to check out the City Center Bishop Ranch shopping center.

Designed by world-famous architect Renzo Piano, the 300,000-square-foot center will be offering a variety of food and beverage specials to kick off Restaurant Week from Sept. 13-22.

Bamboo Sushi, C Casa, Delarosa, Dumpling Time, Fieldwork Brewing, LB Steak, Marugame Udon, Social Affair and World Wrapps are among those participating in Restaurant Week specials.

At Bamboo Sushi, a $45 special will get you king salmon sashimi, sesame green beans, spicy tuna crispy rice, a green machine roll and miso glazed black cod. Top it off with a black sesame brownie with fresh berries and vanilla ice cream for dessert. For an extra $15, you can add a sake pairing for each course.

If European wines are your thing, Delarosa is offering happy hour prices all week long, with $5 glasses of Franconia Viola and Sarti Barbera, or a $6 glass of Gavioli Lambrusco.

If you’re feeling bougie, try the $35 special at Social Affair, where you’ll get green chickpea puree, sautéed dandelion lamb meatballs with honey chili glazed bacon, za’atar flatbreads and a spicy “Hot Lips” tequila and mezcal cocktail.

The week will conclude with “September Sips,” a pair of afternoon wine tastings where wineries pour their best selections while you sip and shop from 1-5:30 p.m. PT.

Taking place during prime grape harvest time, the tastings cost $30 for a two-hour session, or free if you’re one of the first 30 guests to spend $200 or more at participating restaurants during the week. Just show your receipts to the guest services desk and claim your free wine glass and ticket.
