It turns out that Donald Trump Jr. may have other things on his mind than trying to help his father get elected president on Nov. 5.
Among other things, his longtime fiancee, Kimberly Guilfoyle, is said to be coming to terms with allegations that he’s been “fooling around” with another woman, a pretty blonde Palm Beach socialite named Bettina Anderson, as the Daily Mail has been reporting. Also potentially troubling for the former Fox News host and MAGA firebrand: This “dalliance” has become an “open secret” in their elite Republican circles in and around ritzy Palm Beach, the Daily Mail also said.
“Kimberly either didn’t know about Bettina – or didn’t want to know,” an insider told The Daily Mail. “Did she hear whispers that Don Jr. was fooling around with someone else? Probably.”
The insider added that Guilfoyle, a former San Francisco prosecutor and the ex-wife of California Gov. Gavin Newsom, is “no fool.” On the other hand, the insider told the Daily Mail: “It’s easy to deceive yourself when you’re so committed to someone and believe he’s committed to you.”
The Daily Mail first reported on Trump Jr.’s alleged romance with Anderson over the weekend, revealing that he had been seen “canoodling” and “kissing” her during an “intimate brunch” on Aug. 17. Donald Trump’s oldest son, 46, and the “glamorous it girl,” 37, rendezvoused at The Honor Bar, located inside Palm Beach’s “swanky” Royal Poinciana Plaza shopping center.
Guilfoyle, 55, was nowhere in sight, and the alleged romance between Trump Jr. and Anderson has become “the talk of Palm Beach,” the Daily Mail said.
The Daily Mail said that neither Guilfoyle nor Trump Jr. has publicly commented on the “canoodling” reports. But following the initial report, Guilfoyle posted Instagram Story images of herself, donning a “sexy purple dress” and blowing kisses to a camera, the Daily Mail said.
The Daily Mail backed up its report by publishing a photo of Trump Jr. and Anderson sitting together in a cozy booth at The Honor Bar, seemingly unaware they were being photographed. Three witnesses described how affectionate Trump Jr. and Anderson were, and how they seemed to be pretty familiar with each other and with this particular hide-away.
At one point, Anderson was seen planting “a sexy kiss” on Trump Jr.’s lips three times, the Daily Mail reported. “She seemed totally smitten with Don – and he with her,” one of the witnesses said. At another point, Anderson reached down below the table, put her hand on Trump Jr.’s thigh and rubbed it, a witness also said.
“They were definitely on a date,” another witness told the Daily Mail. “They weren’t exactly making out, but the kisses were romantic, and you could tell they were intimate with each other.”
A third person told the Daily Mail: “I guess they’re not trying to hide it. They’ve been seen together all over Palm Beach.”
At another point, Trump Jr. talked about what he wanted to order, with Anderson responding, “Oh, you’re getting that? You don’t usually get that.” The Daily Mail reported that the pair seemed to know the waiter, telling him that they were planning a trip to Islamorada, a resort destination in the Florida Keys.
On Wednesday, Anderson seemed to downplay the Daily Mail reports by posting a carousel of photos of herself on Instagram, dressed glamorously in high heels, short shorts and a white blouse, open to her waist. She captioned the images with the quote: “Gossip is the devil’s telephone. Best to just hang up.”
But if Trump Jr. is indeed stepping out on Guilfoyle, that raises questions about of the future of one of MAGA world’s favorite couples. Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle are major campaigners for Trump, who have been known in the past to allude to their playful sex life at donor events. The Miami Herald ran a story Wednesday asking if the couple are “done” and said things could get “awkward” as they are scheduled to co-host a Trump campaign event this coming weekend in Kentucky.
Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle, who is nine years his senior, began dating in 2018, shortly after Trump Jr. split from his wife, Vanessa, the mother of his five children. At the time of his divorce from Vanessa, Trump Jr. also was the subject of lurid reports, alleging that he cheated on his wife in 2011 and 2012 with Aubrey O’Day, while the singer appeared as a contestant on Donald Trump’s reality TV show, “The Apprentice.”
In certain ways, Anderson bears some resemblance to Vanessa Trump, with both women sporting slender model looks and long, light-colored hair. Anderson often posts photos of herself, modeling designer outfits in glamorous settings. She cheekily refers to herself on Instagram as “Your typical stay at home mom… only I don’t do household chores… or have a husband… or have kids.”
Anderson and Vanessa Trump appeared to be pretty friendly when the socialite attended an “intimate” gathering of Trump supporters in Jupiter, Florida, where Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle have a home, the Daily Mail said in another report.
Photos and videos shared on Instagram Tuesday, by mommy blogger turned-Trump campaign reporter Jessica Reed Kraus, showed Anderson sitting close to Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump and as they and other guests are gathered around a fire pit, the Daily Mail said.

The former couple’s eldest daughter Kai, 17, who made headlines in July after speaking in support of her grandfather at the Republican National Convention, can also be seen in the background, sharing a hug with her doting father or chatting with both her mother and Anderson. Meanwhile, Guilfoyle didn’t appear in any of the images shared online, the Daily Mail said.
This sighting of Trump Jr. and his “stunning companion,” as the Daily Mail said, came the day before he and Guilfoyle put on a show of unity, by cheering on the 2024 MAGA Boat Parade in Jupiter. The couple stood on a dock for what appeared to be their waterfront mansion, as boats, bedecked with Trump flags, passed by.
A video posted by Guilfoyle on Instagram showed her barefoot, standing on the dock and waving to the passing boats, while Trump Jr. stood beside her. The video also shows the former Fox News host riding in one of the boats — but with someone else.
Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle bought their $15.5 million, Spanish-style mansion, shortly after they became engaged and three months after Trump was forced to leave the White House after losing the 2020 election. It’s possible that the longtime New York residents no longer felt welcome in a city whose social and media elite are not fond of Trump and his politics.
For one thing, Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle, once referred to as MAGA World’s “Eva Peron,” were prominent figures at Trump’s rally before the Jan. 6, 2021 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. Guilfoyle told the crowd of Trump’s supporters to “fight like hell” to keep the defeated president stay in office, then introduced her boyfriend, who spoke before his father.
Trump Jr.’s rendezvous with Anderson at The Honor Bar came just four months after he proclaimed his love for his fiancée to mark their six years together.
“Happy 6 year anniversary @kimberlyguilfoyle thanks for always being there no matter what the haters are throwing our way. I love you,” Trump Jr. gushed in an Instagram post.
To mark the occasion, Guilfoyle wrote: “You are my best friend and my soulmate. Here’s to us and out incredibly blessed life we share together. Looking forward to creating new memories and enjoying more adventures together.”
