State isn’t helping
PG&E customers
As a concerned consumer, I am wondering why no one is doing anything about PG&E’s practice of continuing to stick its greedy hand out for more rate increases.
Most PG&E customers are experiencing a monthly bill that resembles a new car payment, yet our elected officials turn the other way and don’t do a thing.
Is it too much to ask to be warm enough in the cool months and not sweltering miserably in the hot months? The extortion we are experiencing is inhumane and unjust. Those of us who rent cannot solve the problem by “going solar.”
Didn’t we vote for people to protect us, and that’s why they are in office? If so, why are those elected officials ignoring the greedy elephant in the room that keeps sucking up all of our hard-earned money?

Donald Trump Jr.’s comments are repulsive, and we again find ourselves asking the question: How do we stop this abhorrent behavior?
Here is one modest suggestion: Change the headline. Near the end of the article, President Biden is quoted as saying. “This has to stop, what he’s doing. It has to stop.”
Perhaps a more appropriate headline for the article would be: “President Biden denounces Trump Jr.’s racist comments.”
With all due respect to professional journalists and editors, let’s give it a try.
