Bay Area News Group girls athlete of the week: Ana Sedic, Presentation

Presentation flag football player Ana Sedic is the Bay Area News Group’s girls high school athlete of the week for Sept. 9-14.

In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sedic finished with 48.83% of the votes. Pittsburg water polo player Yesenia Moffett took second with 45.84% of the vote.

Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.

Sedic scored six touchdowns in a four-game stretch, accumulating over 370 yards of offense during the week. She posted 29 receptions and three two-point conversions to go with her six TDs. Sedic was crucial in securing a win over Watsonville and helped the team battle in a tough loss to Hollister and an OT loss to Salinas.
