A man was fatally shot in Redwood City on Friday night, according to Redwood City police.

Officers arrived at the 1600 block of El Camino Real around 10:43 p.m. that evening after reports of gunshots being heard in the area. The victim, who ultimately died of a single gunshot wound, was reportedly dropped off at a local hospital as officers arrived on the scene.
