That’s the fast-food juggernaut’s new creation, the Chicken Big Mac, and it lands at Bay Area restaurants on Thursday, Oct. 10, for a limited time only. Local pricing has not been announced.

Like the OG, which made its debut more than 50 years ago, in 1968, the chicken version will feature special sauce, lettuce, cheese and pickles on a sesame seed bun (but no onions).
According to the Nation’s Restaurant News, McDonald’s is catering to consumer demand for more chicken while trying to bolster the bottom line. The chain rebranded its fried-chicken sandwich last year as the McCrispy, and has reported stronger sales.
