Made of Memory
New Museum Los Gatos will open a new exhibit this month titled “Made of Memory.”
The exhibit will feature the work of artists Cynthia Brannvall, Dana Harris Seeger, Trinh Mai, Priyanka Rana and Shirin Towfiq, exploring how memory, cultural experience and migration intersect. The artists work explore “the experience of inherited memories, unveiling personal stories of family and heritage,” according to the museum.
“Each artist meaningfully conveys that we are shaped by our own experiences, and by those of past generations,” a press release from NUMU reads.
The exhibit will be on display from Oct. 25 through March 16 of next year. To learn more about NUMU and the exhibit, visit numulosgatos.org.
