CONCORD — Authorities on Monday identified a bicyclist who was killed last week while on an East Bay highway.

Cynthia Perez, 34, of Concord, was on Highway 242 in the far right lane going south toward Walnut Creek on Nov. 24, when the driver of a GMC Yukon hit her, the California Highway Patrol said. The collision happened just north of the Oliveira Road overpass.
She died on the highway.
The CHP did not arrest the driver of the Yukon, who stopped after the collision and spoke with them.
