Man shot in West Oakland

OAKLAND — A man was shot Tuesday afternoon in West Oakland, authorities said.

The man is believed to be in his 20s. His condition was not immediately available.

Police ID man shot and killed in Hayward

The shooting happened about 1 p.m. Tuesday in the area of 10th and Linden streets.

The man was found on the street, but may have been shot while riding in a vehicle that was found at the scene, authorities said.

A motive for the shooting is under investigation. No arrests were announced and no suspect information was released.
