The Bay Area is hosting All-Star weekend for the first time since 2000, and the Warriors are doing whatever they can to put on a show for their hometown fans.
Steph Curry is an All-Star for the 11th time, breaking a franchise record. Trayce Jackson-Davis and Pat Spencer are playing in the Rising Stars game. Quinten Post is participating in the G League showcase event.
And now, Draymond Green, Moses Moody and Buddy Hield have entered the chat.
Green and Moody are set to compete in the skills challenge and Hield will shoot in the 3-point competition.
The Warriors will have representation in almost every All-Star event. All-Star Saturday Night features the skills challenge, 3-point competition and slam dunk contest.
Hield won the 3-point contest in 2020 and lost in the final round to Damian Lillard in 2023. He’s one of 17 players ever to make over 2,000 3-pointers in his career.
Hield started off his first season with the Warriors blazing, helping them to a 12-3 start. But since December, the guard has shot 32.1% from behind the arc.
