After announcing the initial run of dates earlier this month, global R&B and (now) country superstar Beyoncé is extending her Cowboy Carter Tour with a fifth night at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on Friday, May 9.
With this addition, Beyoncé now holds the record for the most performances at SoFi Stadium by any artist. Her five-night stand includes previously announced dates on April 28, May 1, 4, and 7, leading up to the newly added May 9 show.
The tour follows the release of “Cowboy Carter,” Beyoncé’s country genre-blending eighth studio album, which has already been making history. At the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, she earned multiple wins, including Album of the Year, making her the first Black woman to take home the honor in over two decades. The album also won Best Country Album.
Fans got an early taste of the record during her Beyoncé Bowl halftime show on Netflix’s first-ever NFL Christmas Day broadcast, which has since reached over 60 million viewers.
For those hoping to secure tickets, multiple presales will take place ahead of the general on-sale. BeyHive members can access the presale starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, while the artist presale begins later that day at 2 p.m. at Beyonce.com. General on-sale for all dates, except the newly added LA show, starts at noon Friday, Feb. 14 at Beyonce.com. The May 9 SoFi Stadium show will go on sale at 2 p.m.
