Billy Joel, Stevie Nicks team up for blockbuster concert in the Bay Area

Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks are teaming up again. And Bay Area fans are going to love it.

The two Rock and Roll Hall of Famers are set to perform a big doubleheader concert at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.

The concert is set for Oct. 4.

Ticketing information will be updated shortly.

The concert was announced on Thursday at a press conference at Levi’s Stadium, hosted by the San Francisco 49ers. The show is being co-produced and promoted by international music heavyweight Live Nation and the Berkeley-headquartered Another Planet Entertainment (which also books the annual Outside Lands Music Festival in Golden Gate Park).

Of course, Billy Joel and Nicks are two of the most popular artists in the classic rock realm.

Vocalist-pianist Joel is known for such smash hit songs as “Uptown Girl,” “We Didn’t Start the Fire,” “She’s Always a Woman,” “Piano Man,” “My Life” and “Just the Way You Are.”
