Shredding it
Keyes Law Group in Milpitas is holding its second annual Shred Day event on April 19, when residents can bring their sensitive documents to be destroyed rather than tossing them in the recycling bin.
Documents ripe for the shredding include old tax returns, bank statements, pay stubs, medical records and voided checks. Starting at 10 a.m., residents can bring up to seven banker-size boxes of documents to Keyes Law Group’s parking lot, located at 500 E. Calaveras Blvd.
The law group is requesting a $10 donation per box to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. To reserve a spot at the shredder, call 408-766-7668.
