Man shot multiple times on Morgan Territory Road near Clayton

CLAYTON — A man was shot multiple times on Morgan Territory Road Thursday night, authorities said.

He was airlifted to a hospital but his condition was not available Friday. Authorities have not said how old the man is or where he resides.

East Bay police seek stranger who touched student

The shooting happened about 7:48 p.m. Thursday in the 2400 block of Morgan Territory Road, not far from Marsh Creek Road.

The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office, which is investigating the shooting, has not provided a motive for the shooting except to say it stemmed from an argument of some kind.

The office did not say if it happened outside or in a residence, nor would it confirm if a suspect was arrested.
