OAKLAND – A person was injured in a shooting Monday afternoon in East Oakland, police said.

Man arrested in shooting at house of potential Oakland corruption probe witness

Officers went to the 6400 block of Foothill Boulevard just after 4:15 p.m. to investigate reports of shots fired, according to an Oakland Police Department spokesperson. They arrived to find a person suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to an area hospital, where they were listed in stable condition, police said.

An investigation is underway into the shooting.
