Campbell’s Ainsley House hosts Christmas in July

The historic Ainsley House in downtown Campbell is hosting Christmas in July Teas and Tours July 19-21. The lunchtime events will feature a spread of finger sandwiches and sweet treats, crafted by caterers Not Just Cheesecakes. Beverages include a choice of sparkling wine or cider, paired with Ainsley House Peach Black Tea.

Following tea, embark on a self-guided tour of the Ainsley House, featuring ladies’ fashions from the last century on display throughout the various rooms. A boutique sale will take place in the Carriage House, and local artisans will showcase their crafts on the outside patio.

Volunteer for car show

Volunteers are needed for the second annual Historic Downtown Campbell Car Show, set for June 29 in downtown Campbell.
The shifts for most roles are four hours long and available in either a morning from 8 a.m.-noon shift or an afternoon shift from noon-4 p.m. Volunteers will receive a free t-shirt.

Manly workshop

Dr. Brian Tierney, Ph.D, aka “The Somatic Doctor,” is holding a free workshop in Campbell on June 26 as part of Men’s Mental Health Month.

Tailored for men in tech, “The Con Job of Being a Man” explores the societal constructs that keep men from finding their authentic selves.

Tierney is trained in somatic psychology and multidisciplinary research and is a neuroscience professor at California Institute of Integral Studies and private practice psychotherapist.
