Hello Kitty Cafe rolling into Walnut Creek, San Jose, Pleasanton

It’s the little pink truck that keeps on truckin’ — to the delight of fans.

The Hello Kitty Cafe has embarked on her summer of 2024 tour, with plans to roll through the Bay Area. The winsome whiskered one and her sweet snack van will make stops on Saturday, June 22, in Walnut Creek; Saturday, June 29, in San Francisco; Saturday, July 13, in San Jose; and Saturday, July 20, in Pleasanton.

For the uninitiated, fans young and old of this ultra-popular Sanrio creation find this cafe on wheels and Kitty’s offerings absolutely adorable. Besides decorated cookies and other sweets, products include Hello Kitty hoodies, T-shirts, bow-shaped water bottles, plush toys and enamel pins. And there’s new merch for Kitty’ 50th anniversary: plush blanket, iridescent tote, keychain, patches and more.

Here’s the schedule, with hours from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at all destinations:

Walnut Creek: June 22, Broadway Plaza (event plaza near Macy’s)

San Francisco: June 29, Stonestown Galleria (Main East Entrance near Marugame)

San Jose: July 13, Santana Row (near Maggiano’s on Olin Avenue)

Pleasanton: July 20 at Stoneridge Shopping Center (near Cheesecake Factory)
