What police described as a daylight brawl involving at least four people left a man dead Friday afternoon in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood.

The man was shot around 2:30 p.m. July 19 on Sixth Street between Market and Mission streets. He was declared dead at a hospital.
A woman was treated for stab wounds received in the same fight, police said.
No arrests had been made as of Sunday, and the man’s name had not been released.
Another person was fatally shot on the same block in April.
