Andrew Garfield’s professional witch girlfriend denies putting spell on him

Kate Tomas, the self-described “professional witch” and “spiritual mentor” to Hollywood celebrities, Pulitzer Prize winners and Fortune 500 companies, has denied “horrific accusations” that she used magic to seduce new boyfriend Andrew Garfield.

Talking to a Sunday Times reporter from her remote Welsh cottage, the U.K.-born witch blasted the Reddit gossip that has arisen since she was first linked to the “Amazing Spider-Man” actor in early April. The gossip about Tomas using magic to entrance Garfield was in part fueled by one of her professional offerings. The apparent sorceress, with “powerful intuitive abilities,” teaches a master seduction class — in addition to charging nearly $2,000 for a 45-minute tarot card reading.

But Tomas, 42, told the Times, she temporarily shut down the master seduction class because of the gossip. True seduction, she also told The Times, “is not about magic spells or manipulation.”

“It has got nothing to do with how perfect their teeth are — thank you, Reddit — or whether they conform to conventional standards of beauty,” continued the heavily tattooed Tomas, who is ending her fourth marriage. “People that are really attractive are full of charisma because they are authentically themselves and confidently anchored in that.”

Tomas, who has a PhD in Catholic theology from Oxford, also despaired of the way that “no matter how accomplished or impactful a woman is, it’s always going to be more interesting if they are in a relationship with a man.”

“I don’t want to sit under anybody’s shadow,” Tomas said. But she feels that’s been happening since she began dating a celebrity, though she didn’t refer to the British-American Garfield by name in the interview. She explained that one of the more difficult aspects of her current dating situation is the paparazzi.

“They will take maybe 150 pictures, then they choose the four where you look worst,” Tomas said, but added, “The most powerful form of psychic protection is knowing who you are and being OK with that.”

But as the Sunday Times reported, Tomas is no stranger to the corridors of celebrity and power. Her famous clients have included other Oscar-nominated actors and New York Times best-selling authors. Her website includes testimonies from “Will & Grace” star Megan Mullally and “Girls” creator Lena Dunham, who said, “(Kate has) kept me out of catastrophe time and time again. I’d die without her.”

Tomas said she generally sticks to doing a limited number of tarot readings for a limited number of clients, because the readings are so “labor-intensive,” and clients must commit to doing six months of follow-up work — costing at least $5,000.

But people should know that Tomas will be starting up her master seduction class again in August and it’s comparatively affordable: about $80, The Sunday Times reported.

But Tomas insisted that she never performs spells for clients,  even though she gets regular requests to “hex the ex.” She explained, “I don’t want the responsibility. I want to empower other people to access their own capacity to change their life, so I train them how to do ritual magic.”

Tomas was first linked to Garfield in early April when they were spotted out on a double-date with Phoebe Bridgers and Bo Burnham, Us Weekly reported. A source told the outlet that she’s down to earth, and “he feels very comfortable with her.”

“Andrew really appreciates the fact that Kate is very different from other women he’s dated,” the source said. “He thinks she has a great sense of humor and she’s easy to talk to.”

Fan obsession with Garfield’s dating life is nothing new, Us Weekly also reported. The Oscar-nominated “Hacksaw Ridge” actor dated Emma Stone for three years before their 2015 breakup. He’s also been romantically linked to Susie Abromeit, Rita Ora, Aisling Bea, Christine Gabel, Olivia Brower and Alyssa Miller.
