DANVILLE — Police on Thursday were continuing to search for three gun-wielding men who robbed a Wells Fargo Bank branch Wednesday afternoon.
The robbery happened about 12:28 p.m. Wednesday at the bank at 585 San Ramon Valley Blvd. in the Town and Country Shopping Center on the edge of downtown.
Police said three men armed with handguns entered the bank and demanded cash from tellers and items from customers.
No one was injured.
Police said the suspects fled with cash in a gray Acura SUV which was later recovered in another city, although they did not say what city.
Detailed descriptions of the robbers have not been released.
