The escalating custody battle between Elon Musk and his former partner Grimes has taken a public turn, with Grimes’ mother, Sandy Garossino, posting a series of accusations to X on Saturday.
Garossino, the grandmother of three of Musk’s children, implored Musk to allow the kids to visit their ailing great-grandmother, and said she was writing on X because she had no other way to reach him.
“I am alarmed to learn that the children cannot come as you are withholding them and their needed passport documents from Claire,” she wrote, using Grimes’ birth name.
“Where are the other children, and with whom? They are scheduled to be with their mother. They were expected here in Canada,” Garossino continued.

The post, shared by Grimes, also emphasized the urgency, noting that her 93-year-old mother had not met one of the children and was yearning to see them “one last time.”
Musk and Grimes are currently embroiled in legal disputes in California and Texas related to the custody of their children.
This latest family drama comes on the heels of other public accusations involving Musk and his 12 children.
The tech billionaire said in a recent interview that he considered his 20-year-old transgender daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, to be figuratively dead and infected with a “woke mind virus.”
Wilson fired back on Thursday, during an interview with NBC News, accusing Musk of “illegally and continuously” keeping Grimes’ children away during critical developmental periods.
She also criticized his parenting, describing him as “cold” and “narcissistic,” and detailing past instances where she felt unsupported by him.
