SAN JOSE — A lucky patron won $2 million from a California lottery scratcher purchased at a San Jose cafe, California lottery officials announced Monday.

Lotto ticket worth almost $120,000 bought in East Bay

The scratcher was purchased at Tuong Vi Ice Cream and Café, at 2485 Alvin Avenue in San Jose, officials said in a news release.

Lottery officials identified the lucky top-prize winner as Debi Nguyen. She won the jackpot on an Instant Prize Crossword Scratcher; officials did not say when she had claimed the prize.

A winning Fantasy Five ticket purchased in San Francisco was a winner in Tuesday night’s draw, officials said. The ticket was sold at Mike’s Market and won $165,297.
