The Quimby Fire was reported around 7:40 p.m. in the 4400 block of Quimby Road.

The fire had consumed 15 acres as of 8:12 p.m., the Cal Fire Santa Clara Unit said in a social media post.

The Quimby Fire is composed of four separate blazes, according to the Watch Duty app.

In an update just after 8 p.m., the app reported the largest fire was 10 acres and threatening structures.

A San Jose Fire Department spokesperson did not immediately return a message seeking additional details about the fire.
