Campbell residents can take parks survey through Sept. 6

Parks survey

Sept. 6 is the last day Campbell community members can take a survey about what they want to see in city parks. The survey is designed to help city officials create Campbell’s first-ever Parks and Recreation Master Plan to identify needs and priorities for the city’s park system over the next 10 years. The plan will help the city strategically allocate resources to address community needs.

Anyone age 12 and older can take the survey at www.campbellca.gov/prmasterplan. It takes 10-15 minutes to complete.

Fall Wine Walk

Tickets are on sale for the Fall Wine Walk in downtown Campbell, set for Sept. 19. Early bird tickets are $50 through Monday, Sept. 16. Regular admission is $55 at https://www.downtowncampbell.com/winewalk.

Club card

The Santa Clara County Library District is kicking off National Library Card Sign-up Month in September with a big assist from the Bay Area’s new National Women’s Soccer League team, Bay Football Club. Two original library card designs featuring the team’s logo will only be available through the district’s libraries, including the Campbell Express Library, and bookmobile.

Bay Football Club was founded by four U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team icons: Brandi Chastain, Aly Wagner, Danielle Slaton and Leslie Osborne. The club is in the middle of its inaugural season at PayPal Park in San Jose.

For more information about how to get a library card, visit https://sccld.org/card. Supplies of the new library cards are limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis.
