SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA: San Jose’s Brasil family — mom Chanté, 5-year-old André, 8-year-old Dominic and dad David — flew down to Burbank, Chanté says, “to explore Universal Studios for the first time. Hitting the park on a Monday before the 4th of July was an excellent day to choose (and 20 degrees cooler than the Bay Area).”

TRAVEL TIPS: “It also happens to be the 60th anniversary of the Studio Tour. As a fun bonus right now, you’re actually allowed off the tram to take some photo ops with the Bates house from ‘Psycho,’ cars from ‘Fast & Furious’ as well as from ‘The Grinch,’ and then, of course, a photo op with Bruce from ‘Jaws.’ Don’t forget to scan the QR code while you’re there to see a fun interactive clip.”
