The Santa Clara County Library District is kicking off National Library Card Sign-up Month in September with a big assist from the Bay Area’s new National Women’s Soccer League team, Bay Football Club. Two original library card designs featuring the team’s logo are available through the district’s libraries, including the Saratoga Library, and bookmobile.

Bay Football Club was founded by four U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team icons: Brandi Chastain, Aly Wagner, Danielle Slaton and Leslie Osborne. The club is in the middle of its inaugural season at PayPal Park in San Jose.
