Bay Area News Group girls athlete of the week: Megan Rost, Berean Christian volleyball

Berean Christian volleyball player Megan Rost is the Bay Area News Group’s girls high school athlete of the week for Sept. 2-7.

In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Rost had 41.643% of the vote to finish ahead of James Logan volleyball player Leann Jung and Leland water polo player Chrissy Flynn.

Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.

The team captain helped Berean Christian win the NorCal Volleyball Invitational by playing five complete matches. As the team’s only libero, the senior had 72 digs.
