New NUMU exhibit
New Museum Los Gatos will unveil a new exhibit on Jan. 24, 2025, titled “Seeping Through Domestic Dissonance,” an exploration of human interference in the natural world. The exhibit will be up through May 18.
By Bay Area-based artist Mitra Fabian, the exhibit will feature a mixed-media installation, an “immersive contemplative conglomeration” of the years she spent living in the Santa Cruz Mountains contending with wildfires and heavy winds and rain.
“Visitors will be transported into a mysterious yet familiar environment,” according to NUMU.
An opening reception is set for Saturday, Jan. 25, 3-5 p.m. Visit numulosgatos.org/exhibitions to learn more.
