Disneyland draws long lines for viral food hack

A viral Disneyland food hack that was supposed to disappear at the end of the Halloween season and is still attracting passionate new fans will stick around through the end of the year and maybe longer if the social media buzz continues.

Disneyland chefs who spotted parkgoers slicing the Cheesy Garlic Pretzel Bread and stuffing a Smoked Bratwurst inside decided to add the food hack to the menu at Edelweiss Snacks across from the Matterhorn Bobsleds entrance in Fantasyland.

Disneyland introduced the $13 Garlic Cheesy Brat in August as a limited time item during the Halloween season — but it’s now on the Christmas seasonal menu and may never go away judging by its popularity.

“Love that this used to be a hack you did inside the park,” according to Food Beast on Instagram. “Now you can just order it.”

Edelweiss Snacks now has extended the standby queue to corral the snaking line of hungry Disneylanders waiting to buy a Garlic Cheesy Brat, according to MiceChat.

“Now there’s a taped-off line to manage the queue,” according to MiceChat.

The pro tip to avoid the long line at Edelweiss Snacks: Mobile order in advance.

MiceChat cut a 30 minute-plus standby wait to 5 minutes by using the Disneyland app to order the Garlic Cheesy Brat.
