Sunnyvale: Pedestrian killed in car collision Saturday evening

The crash happened in the area of Ygnacio Valley Road and North Main Street, according to an advisory sent out by Walnut Creek police at 6:11 a.m. Initial reports of the crash first were called into dispatchers about 5:40 a.m.

Authorities did not have any information immediately on the bicyclist. They said the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and spoke to police.

Police were expected to release more information on the crash later Wednesday.
