How to watch tonight’s San Jose Sharks-Seattle Kraken game

SAN JOSE – Instead of airing on NBC Sports California, the San Jose Sharks’ game against the Seattle Kraken at Climate Pledge Arena on Thursday is being shown exclusively on ESPN.

The broadcast begins at 7:30 p.m. Roxy Bernstein will have the play-by-play, Ray Ferraro is the color analyst, and Leah Hextall is the ice-level reporter.

This is the second time this season that a Sharks game is being televised nationally on ESPN. The network also carried San Jose’s home game against the Los Angeles Kings on Oct. 29 and is also showing the Sharks’ March 30 game in Los Angeles.

ESPN released its NHL broadcast schedules for the 2024-25 NHL season. Both Disney and Turner Sports (TNT) hold national broadcast rights to the NHL.

NBC Sports California resumes its Sharks broadcasting schedule on Tuesday when the team hosts the Montreal Canadiens.

The Sharks enter Thursday in 32nd place in the NHL’s overall standings with a 15-32-6 record for 36 points. The snapped a six-game losing streak a 2-1 win over Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday. The Kraken (22-27-3) have lost three of its past four games and is in seventh place in the Pacific Division, 11 points ahead of the Sharks.
