Dougherty Valley girls basketball player Keira Tom is the Bay Area News Group girls athlete of the week for Feb. 10-15.
In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Tom finished with 56.32% of the votes. Aragon soccer player Emi Lo took second with 33.18%.
Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.
The junior guard scored a game-high 24 points and dished out four assists to lead Dougherty Valley past Monte Vista in the second round of the EBAL playoffs.
