BroadwaySF announces blockbuster lineup of shows for 2025-26 season

BroadwaySF has a big lineup of shows in store for theater fans during the 2025-26 season.

The lineup, which was made public today, includes recent Broadway sensation “Stereophonic,” the longtime laugh riot “Spamalot” and multi-Grammy Alicia Keys’ “Hell’s Kitchen.”

The season begins with the Tony-winning musical comedy “Shucked,” which runs Sept. 9 to Oct. 5.

Other season offerings include the Tony-winning musical “Suffs,” the love story “The Notebook” and the family favorite “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.”

Also, BroadwaySF is also hosting a limited engagement of Cameron Mackintosh’s revitalized new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “The Phantom of the Opera.”

“BroadwaySF’s 2025/26 season is a celebration of the best of Broadway,” said BroadwaySF General Manager Jamie Budgett. “From Tony Award-winning hits to timeless classics, we’re thrilled to bring this dynamic lineup to the San Francisco Bay Area.”

BroadwaySF 2025-26 season:

“Shucked”

The Tony-winning musical comedy directed by Jack O’Brien (“Hairspray”), featuring a book by Robert Horn (“Tootsie”) and a score from the Grammy–winning songwriting team of Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally, runs Sept. 9-Oct. 5 at the Curran Theatre.

“Suffs”

Tony-winning musical about the women who fought for the right to vote, “Suffs” plays Oct. 21-Nov. 9 at the Orpheum Theatre.

“Stereophonic”

The show garnered more Tony Awards than any other at the 2024 ceremony. It features original music by Arcade Fire’s Will Butler and runs Oct. 28-Nov. 23 at the Curran Theatre.

“The Notebook”

Based on the best-selling novel that inspired the beloved romantic film, “The Notebook” runs Feb. 10-March 1, 2026, at the Orpheum Theatre.

“Spamalot”

Bursting at the seams with the comedic genius of Monty Python, “Spamalot” plays March 3-22, 2026, at the Golden Gate Theatre.

“Hell’s Kitchen”

Described in the BroadwaySF press release as “a New York City coming-of-age story you’ve never felt before,” this musical from Alicia Keys plays May 5-24, 2026, at the Orpheum Theatre.

“The Phantom of the Opera”

Cameron Mackintosh’s revitalized new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic musical plays May 28-June 21, 2026 at the Orpheum Theatre. (This is billed as a “special add-on production.”)

“Disney’s Beauty and the Beast”

This 30th anniversary production of the popular Disney musical runs July 14-Aug. 9, 2026, at the Orpheum Theatre.
