San Francisco Peninsula Coast and Santa Cruz Mountains placed under a wind advisory until Friday morning

San Francisco Peninsula Coast and Santa Cruz Mountains are under a wind advisory which was released by the National Weather Service on Friday at 12:17 a.m. The advisory is valid between 4 a.m. and 9 a.m.

According to the NWS San Francisco CA, “Southeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.”

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” according to the NWS. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
