Man in critical condition after Oakland shooting

OAKLAND — A 61-year-old man was in critical condition Wednesday after he was shot in East Oakland Tuesday night outside a neighborhood market, authorities said.

The shooting happened about 6:42 p.m. Tuesday in the 8400 block of International Boulevard.

While crafting machine gun, an East Bay man espoused hatred of Jews and researched mass shootings, feds say

Police said the man was shot after getting into a dispute with at least one other person outside a neighborhood market.

After being shot the man made it into the market where he collapsed.

Police and medical personnel were called and the man was taken to a hospital by ambulance from the market.

A motive for the shooting is under investigation.  No arrests have been made  and no suspect information has been released.
