Menlo School baseball player Luke Rogers is the Bay Area News Group’s boys high school athlete of the week for April 29 to May 4.
In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Rogers had 35.96% to finish ahead of Valley Christian baseball player Kole Laubach, who was second at 27.49%.
Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.
Rogers, a junior, went 4 for 8 in his team’s two victories over Half Moon Bay. One of his hits was a double. Rogers began this week batting .481 with a .512 on-base percentage.
