Officers were initially called to the 2200 block of Country Hills Drive around 7:20 a.m. Wednesday for a report of a man down on the sidewalk possibly in need of medical attention.

The man was dead when officers arrived. Police identified him as 48-year-old Antioch resident Raheem Coe.

“After an autopsy and further investigation, the death has been determined to be a homicide,” Antioch police Lt. Desmond Bittner said in a news release Friday night.

Coe frequented the area where he was discovered, according to Bittner.

Additional details about the case, including how Coe died, were not immediately available.
