OAKLAND – Gunshots rang out after a high school graduation event Thursday night in Oakland, according to authorities.

The incident unfolded around 7:40 p.m. at Skyline High School, located at 12250 Skyline Blvd.
Oakland Fire Department crews arrived to find a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds, said spokesperson Michael Hunt. They were treated at the scene and taken to an area hospital.
“Their condition was stable at the scene,” Hunt said. “Unknown what their current condition is.”
A third victim reportedly arrived at an area hospital, Hunt said.
A student told ABC7 News he heard gunshots while taking photos with his friends. He said people started running but were then escorted off the school’s field into the locker room.
The Oakland Police Department did not immediately return a message seeking details about the shooting.
